Terms of Use

The road, its signs and the instructions of the authorities always come before anything the app says. Meshwarak helps you keep to the limit; it does not drive for you.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Meshwarak you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app and uninstall it.

2. The service

Meshwarak warns you out loud before known radar locations, reminds you of the speed limit, and tells you when the road ahead has no network. It is currently a free beta; we may change, add or discontinue any feature at any time.

3. Local law

Every country has its own rules. You are responsible for checking that using an app like this is permitted where you are, and for switching off any feature that is not. Keeping to speed limits and traffic rules is solely your responsibility.

4. Safe use

• Do not handle the phone while driving. Mount it before you set off and rely on the voice alerts.
• Keep your attention on the road. The app is an aid, not a substitute for your attention or for road signs.

5. Not allowed

• Using the app to evade safety rules or to drive dangerously.
• Knowingly submitting false reports or information, or trying to corrupt the data.
• Copying, decompiling, modifying or using a modified version of the app.
• Scraping the app's data or reusing it in another service.

If any of this happens, we may restrict features or suspend the account. Where possible we will tell you why, and you can ask for a review through the contact form or at info@meshwarak.com.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any violation, fine, accident, loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your driving, your use of the app or your reliance on it, nor for service interruptions, data errors, or network, phone or GPS failures. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have by law that cannot be waived.

7. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older, and hold a valid driving licence if you are the driver.

8. Your account

An account needs your name and phone number; we ask for it when you open the app while not driving. You are responsible for keeping them accurate and for the number being yours. You can delete your account at any time in Settings or on the account deletion page.

9. Your recordings

The trips and recordings the app sends help us correct road data. You grant us a free, perpetual right to use them to improve the service, without becoming a co-owner of the resulting data. We handle them as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Ownership

The Meshwarak name, logo, app and design are ours.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or on the website. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

12. Severability

If any clause is found invalid, only that clause is affected and the rest remain in force.
