Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you control it. It covers the Meshwarak app and this website. Use of the app is also subject to our Terms of Use.

No ads. We never sell your data and we do not use it for marketing.

1. What we collect

• An anonymous install identifier: a random id created when you first open the app. It contains neither your name nor your number.
• Location: while you drive, including in the background, only after you grant location permission. Speed and alerts are computed on your phone.
• Trips: your route and trip summary upload to our server when you are online.
• Technical data: app version and operating system, to fix bugs.
• Account: your name and phone number, and a code to verify the number, sent by SMS.
• Messages to us: if you use the website's contact form, we receive the email or number and the message you wrote.

We do not record audio, and we do not read your messages, contacts or photos.

2. How we use it

• To alert you on the road and remind you of the speed limit.
• To verify your number and link your recordings to your account.
• To reply to you and solve problems.
• To protect the service from misuse.

3. How long we keep it

• On your phone: trips are kept for 30 days, then deleted.
• Account data: until you delete your account.
• Contact messages: as long as we need them to reply.

4. Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and server access is restricted. No system is 100% secure, but we do our part.

5. Your controls

• Location: you can revoke the permission in your phone's settings at any time; alerts will stop.
• Account: we ask for it when you open the app while not driving; while you drive, alerts work without it.
• Copy or correction: request a copy of your data or a correction through the contact form or at info@meshwarak.com; we reply within 30 days.
• Account deletion: in the app (Settings → Your account → Delete my account) or on the account deletion page. Your name and number are erased permanently; trips remain without any personal data.

6. Age

The app is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect children's data, and we delete any account we learn belongs to someone younger.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or on the website; the current version is always here.
